Local club member gets Reefkeeping TOTM

One of our local club (CORA) members, Chris Ward, just got his tank listed as Reefkeeping's Tank of The Month:

He has a light blue Millipora that is about 3 feet across, no kidding. The same coral was less than 10" across at the beginnig of 2004. Some SERIOUS growth in 2 years.

Sweet! Nice tank, interesting to see corals THAT big... I thought the tank was much smaller at first because of the relative size of the corals, and then went W_O_W when they said what size the tank was!!!

i was really confused when looking at those pics. where they taken at different times in the tank's life?

b/c i only see a couple very large sps from the front view. but then i scrolled down and saw pics of all kinds of smaller colonies you definitely can't see in that frontal shot.

very cool though. i can't believe how big that milli is. thats crazy.

With this being almost 6 years old I would be interested if the tank was still up and running today? Would be some beautiful colonies.
