local friend selling his live stuff

hey guys, one of my good buddies is shutting down his reef. he has a 65 gallon reef and wants to sell all the live rock and corals. it has been setup for several years and hasnt had any issues with it. he just doesnt have time to even keep the glass clean. he has already got someone who is taking the equipment.

I am waiting for a list of corals and I will then post them, but just seeing if there is any interest. I know he has a rose bubble tip he has had for several years with a cinimon clown that is a great host. several mushroom rocks, green nepthia tree, sea fan, and several others I will post soon. I would guess there is probly at least 60 - 75 pounds of liverock.

he mentioned $200 for everything, but I need to get a list from him and a for sure price.

I will try and find out more info tomorrow. as of now I dont think he will want to split it all up, unless I take it all and split it up for him. so if someone wants it all I think it will sell that way first. but first let me find out more info.

he left to go skiing in utah, so he said we would get together when he gets back, which unfortunatly im leaving to go skiing a few days after he gets back so it will probly be at least a week to get this deal going. sorry for the delay guys, I thought it was gonna be ready to go when I posted.

ok, my friend just got back from skiing, he is gonna email me some pics of his tank, so I will post them soon. also he is tearing down a tank with about 500 pounds of live rock. 300 pounds of it was bought at bermuda triangle 1 year ago for $15 lb. this rock is covered in coraline and there are very few little pieces. If anyone is interested he will be selling it for $3 a lb. he has to move it quickly. he doesnt have anywhere to keep it when the tank is drained. so if interested you would need to be ready to get some this weekend or maybe next. If someone wants 100 pounds or more we will make a better price.

I imagine a bunch of us could split up the LR. I could take a large piece or 2. My truck has the tank in it right now, but does somebody want to go and get it and we'll divide it up/pay whoever at my house (while helping move my tank)? Oh, that would be nice. I've got some smaller pieces that I could swap for bigger pieces if somebody wants smaller pieces, though I'd guess they would have to be quarentined because of my recent ick?

yes, he said he was gonna take pictures of it today. so hopefully I will know something tonight. and again this is for the liverock corals and fish only, no equipment is being sold.
