Locline too tight to snap in!

My half-inch loc- line are way too tight to snap fit into the threaded MPT adapter, how should I do what should I heat up a little bit with hot water or heat gun?

Use silicone grease to lube?

I wouldn’t heat it up. It will stay loose after that. I’m assuming you don’t have the locline tool so you will have to improvise. You may can get a pair of needle nose pliers to grip it with and push it together. The line is really hard so it will take a little effort. A little water will work for lubrication. Good luck

Loc line is pretty hard to put together. I usually put it on the table and apply a lot of pressure to get it to snap in.

Or you could purchase locline pliers. I never could justify the the price since I hardly ever use it.

They generally are. See if you have a plumber friend, otherwise home depot sell a nifty pliers that snaps them together with NO effort

I put one end in the freezer and the other in hot water for a few minutes, then easily snapped them together .
