Loctite v. Gorilla Glue

Which is best for aquariums? If it's the same let me know

Any gel superglue (cyanoacrylate should be an ingredient) would work. Regular super glue and gorilla glue will not work.

Either/or. Just make sure to get the gel type. The liquid or regular is difficult to work with on frags.

I like the gorilla gel glue a lot, it comes in a much bigger size then the loctite, and cheaper then the loctite. I used to use the loctite, but feel that they are a rip off cause some of their small packs are just not packed fully.

I used both, but I absolutely love BRS extra thick super glue. Works well and u cannot beat the price!

One reason I prefer the Gorilla glue brand is the design of their bottle. It never clogs up and I seem to be able to use every bit of glue.

They’re the same. You get more with gorilla glue though. I switched from loctite to gorilla for that reason.

This is the best brand IMO. I’ve used gorilla glue and most every other brand at some point but this is the best. Seems to skin over better and it is just less messy overall. And it’s not any more expensive than any of the other glues.

Dollar store superglue gel for me in the single use tubes. Cyanoacrylate is cyanoacrylate. Although I've used the regular (thin) SG, gel is much easier to work with. A few years back I was at the woodworking show and picked up a 8oz bottle of "woodturners cyanoacrylate gel" that lasted me for a very long time as well.

I use the BSI IC-GEL also, its great stuff and as jsvand5 said is a good price on Amazon.

Last time I ordered they even sent me the 50g instead of the 20g tubes. Should last me quite a long time. The consistency of the glue is what makes it the best IMO.
