Hey All! Looking to get help and ensure the diagnosis is appropriate. I had my clowns get what was originally determined to be ich…and they were covered. Transferred and stood up 10 gallon QT and they’ve been doing well. Their appetites are still very much there and almost all of it is gone except a little remaining on the little one’s head and a spot on his fin.

However I’ve noticed a severe degradation of their “long-fin” translucent flesh, I was curious what can be done to restore it? Or is it unreplaceable.

My ammonia is less than .02, if any, healthy doses of bacteria during water changes and shortly after eating. I’ve been maintaining copper levels of 2.48 - 2.7 ppm. And running an air supply unit to the tank.

Are all appropriate measures being taken? How much longer until ich is gone? Lastly, is there anything I can do to ensure the fine health is maintained or even heal it?

You have fin and tail rot and likely from water quality. How are you measuring ammonia and copper?
You will have to use Seachem Kanaplex for the fin issue, however I dont like mixing meds with copper product
Are you using coppersafe or cupramine?

Fritz coppersafe and I have an ammonia alert badge inside tank. Haven’t done an ammonia test but I have a Hanna marine master if necessary.

Hanna Copper kit is best and I never trusted badge especially one in medication - do manually test with reliable kit

How long ago did these clowns have active ich? This could be related to a secondary bacterial infection.

However, the little clown is breathing too fast. I would ensure there is no ammonia and that the aeration is good. S there be an airstone in the tank?

There could also be some fighting going on, the small clown has a damaged lip.
