Long hair algae?

Hey, recently developed this odd hair like algae. It’s about 1 ft long and both clumps are stemming from one spot.

At a glance it looks like green hair algae but I’ve never seen or heard of it growing to a foot long.

Normally it takes over as well. This is just 2 super long clumps
