Long Island Reefers

So how many people on r2r are located on long island? Any good stores or gatherings I would want to know about lol thanks

I'm on the north shore in glen cove. LI local forum is Manhattanreefs if you want to check them out too. LIRA is the reef club but I haven't been to any meetings. Aquarium Village is in my opinion the best store on the islsnd but there are others to check out

I am in South Farmingdale. I recommend Tropical Island in Deer Park, the guy knows what he is doing over there and carries some high end stuff.. I generally shy away from stores that overcrowd their stock tanks with tons of fish.

Depends on which.. One of which I know for sure believes a female clownfish can go back to male. Any information afterwards is discarded, which further adds to the idea of not really listening to what the LFS personnel say.

thanks for all the info guys.... I went to tropical island today in deer park picked up some amazing corals they have such a good selection very clean store too
