Well we moved approx a month ago and my 75 tank was just thrown together after the move. I have been putting off rearranging the rockwork and tonight I finally tackled the task. Boy it was a real pain. I worked on it for about 4 1/2 hours and as usuall I am not very happy with the results. I always have to change things around for a couple weeks before I can leave them alone. I am having a hard time with several big pieces I have. I do believe the big spaghetti leather will have to go. I have a bunch of frags that will go to one of the LFS but I have decided to get rid of the mother piece too. With my big green bubble anemone and long tenticle torch I am simply running out of room. I guess I could just buy a bigger tank!! But the bank account just won't allow that right now  ! Oh well - any one else done a big overhaul lately? IF so how was it??

my 65 is so crowded I cant fit anything in there, and I mean anything. I am getting a 120 soon here but it is big bucks. Outer orbit is coming out with a LED light that I am waiting for. It is supposed to be half the price of the others.

I guess everyone already knows my tear down story from last week, but when My new tank gets here ill have a new one. and the 120 will be up for sale. So anyone looking to upgrade to a 120 can start making offers! HEHE

I rearranged the rockwork in my 55 gallon tank two weeks ago. I knew it would be a big task so I had 10 gallons of extra water ready and numerous buckets and extra tanks to hold corals and rocks. At one point or another every piece of coral and rock was removed from the tank and repositioned, and about 15 frags were finally glued into place.

I ended up spending the better part of two days on the tank, just to end up with a final product that looks strangely similar to what it looked like before. I'm happy I finally did it after putting it off for months.

i upgraded from a 55 to a 180 so i dont have near enought rock so im waiting till i get more rock before i start scaping

I think I had about 20 gallons of water to put corals and rock in. I took almost all the rock out and vacuumed the substrate. It really wasn't that bad except I hate trying to aquascape!! And now my large green bubble tip isn't happy with it's new location. I don't know why anemone's can't just stay where we put them!!

It's funny how you try to rescape your tank and spends hours and like you said it winds up very similar to what you had. But so long as your happy with it.

WOW! I can't imagine upgrading to a 180. Must be nice to have all that room - That would be a fun aquascaping project!! I would just hate to fund all that rock!!! Good luck and post some pics when you get done if you can -
