Long nose butterfly fish

I’m looking to get a juvenile long nose butterflyfish temporarily for my 150L display tank it will be moved to a friends 500L display tank When it outgrows mine. Does anyone know how fast it will grow?

It probably won't grow at all, in fact the chances of death are high.

They are very specialised feeders and often have difficulty in captivity. I would only recommended them to rather experienced aquarium keepers.

Not sure about the longnose but my heniochus butterfly was about 3 inches when i got him and he has doubled in size to 6 inches in about a year
