Hi Everyone im wondering if someone can help me, I habe had my long nosed butterfly fish for 3 weeks now, has never hidden or not gone a day without eating, he eats masstick, vrine shrimp, music and so on, the first 2 days I noticed a couple of white spots, went to the LFS and they said they are prone to fungal problems, so I treated him with herbal treatment and it went in 2 days, I have added one new fish in the two weeks, which is a lot smaller, nothing has been stressful, water parameters are perfect, 1 day ago boom the white spots, he is eating lots, swimming and not flicking either, any advice from anyone, all the other fish are fine no signs touch wood of white spots...help

Sorry here are some pics

Looks like Ich… herbal treatments don’t work, unfortunately... I’ve tried them all lol And your other tank inhabitants will soon start showing signs as well. Only sure fire treatment is copper in QT and feeding with Metroplex/focus. Best of luck, and keep us posted

I've just set up a quarantine tank as I habe never had one before as I have always got them from a well trusted local fish store which habe the same parameters as me, what should I do next

Crypt, hard to tell if it's just the pic, but looks like at least the Naso and leopard wrasse have it too. It's in the system, so if it were me I'd treat all fish and run fallow in the DT for 90 days.
