hey guys, I bought some coral off somebody for a low price on craiglist and he gave me a long spine urchin, about 10 inches in diameter with it (not sure the species). problem is.. he eats everything. his coralline eating tendencies don't bother me as he can't keep up with the growth but I kept having polyp and even whole corals been taken down and blamed coral banded shrimp until I caught him polishing off a whole zoa colony tonight. ive also had a few fish go missing and searched my house thinking they jumped out but know they were sick and now assume he just fed on their carcasses. I put him in the refugium while I look for advice. is there something I can be feeding him (maybe silversides) to satisfy his appetite so he is not eating all my corals? I know many will be against him ever being in my tank but it was that or he was tossed out from the guy taking down his tank so I won't get rid of him. any suggestions help.
thanks

Give it to your LFS. It will attract attention in the store and they might find someone who wants to buy it.
