Long stem zoas with stripes?

Got these guys a few weeks ago and only now am I coming to wonder why the heck are these zoas so tall??

The tallest in the back is probably ~3inches tall

They really fill out that area of the tank and I bump them with my hand all the time. I have a feeling they'll grow like weeds

Raise them in your tank, they are reaching for your light. So dial up your light or raise them higher in the tank.

Yep most zoa will stretch towards the light if they are not getting enough, just like weeds competing in a corn field for sun.

They are fairly high in my tank and not all of them do it, if anything they get a bit too much light

I've heard some zoas just have long stalks

I've seen zoas stretch before and this is different
