long tentacle anemone help

so i got a new edition to my reef tank that is over six months old
i maintained coral and kept it alive and decided for a new and beautiful challenge.
ever since i got into the hobby two years ago i always wanted an anemone so i decided to get one.
i got a long tentacle anemone for some reason the seller said it was green but looks more like brown to me ,or is it sick or bleaching ?it does look like a bi of green with yellow under blues . it is on the sand at he moment as it moved. i did make a little cave for him as i did read that they like tight spaces and also dig up a hole on the sand oh well didn't work he still moved. he eat a shrimp today. he is under a 165 watt led 100% blues 25% whites.
my question is does he look healthy ?will i loose him ?
what can i do to help him stay happy and maintain him alive?
anyone i u can please help me or give me advice

Looks good and fine to me. Don’t feed it anymore until it settles down (wait at least a week).

The color will come back. Give it more time. It’s just shocked from the stress of movin to a new environment.

Any advice on it it has been in the floor like that all day I heard they die when they stay like that

Try digging your hole under a flat ledge type rock and place him in...u could also try a large piece of pvc tubing.

size Of tubbing ? And can the tubbing go I the sand ?

Size depends on the size of the nem...I used a 3" coupler that had a slight bend to it .not a 90...and I would dig the pvc under a rock in the sand and place nem in it.

I put my rainbow bubble-tip on a concave shell when I got him. He attached to it within a few hours and hasn't moved in 9 months. If the light and flow are adequate, they don't seem to roam as much imo.

The first pic is day 1, the 2nd pic is 9 months of growth. Can't see the shell anymore.

For flow I have a jabeo como 25 aquarium 54 gallon corner tank
The pump is set to pusling mode

Ooooo. They really like to dig Their foot in the substrate and I worry there may no be enough in there for him to do so...maybe a deep Tupperware dish filled with sand for him or add more to the tank???

Yeah, LTA really needs a DSB, people try tupperware or PVC when they don't have that, don't think I've seen that work as a long term solution yet, as you'd have to get pretty lucky the spot you pick is the spot you want.

LTA is very different from BTA in needs, that's an apples to oranges comparison.

I seee about the pvc pipe how those that work and for the mean time I dug on the side of the rock and placed another rock to the anemone so it could have like a little cave there let’s see how it works.
And well should have done more research on the anemone thought they were like bta

Should I maybe cover The anemone with sand ? Its foot ?

Could I just get a 1 dollar topperware so I just add like 4 inches of sand and dig the anemone into it ?

I would leave it like you have it for now and see if it sets in and stays.
LTA can actually be kinda easier than BTA for mixed reefs, as they stay down at sand bed, while BTA are rock dwellars mostly, and can climb all over, often stinging corals, harder to manage sometimes.
