Long Tentacle Anemone

Hey guys,

New to the threads but I need your help. We have a long tentacle anemone in our Biocube 16 that was acclumated 3 days ago and still has not attached. I have tried every thing to get him to attach into different hideaways but no success. He continues to go over to the filter intake and facing it which has the tentacles flowing in. He ends in this spot every time. Its hard to get him out of that spot so I dont want to keep messing with him but what can I do?? I just want him to be happy. Is there a way to switch the Biocube 16 filter to a lower flow?

It is two and a half months old and just added 2 clowns and the long tentacle anemone as the fish guy said the tank was ready. Once the lights come on ill take a better picture but I have the Biocube 16 basic set up with rubble in the media tank, water test is perfect and the green algae is starting to turn to coraline. Main Lights I have going 8 hours with dusk/dawn 2 hours early and moonlight staying 2 hours past.. What would be the best lighting? is it possible this is the issue? Everything else is flourishing, clowns are happy, and the goby is cleaning away lol temp ranges from 77.9 to 79.3

The tank is too young for an anemone, 6 months minimum until your tank is ready for it, what is the tanks actual parameters?

+1 best thing to do is try and see if they'll take it back for something else

Well that sucks, I ended up shipping it in because everyone has been having delivery issues apparently with all this COVID.. I guess I will just have to see how it gets along.. If not I'll see if my buddy can hold on to it until he can thrive, not quite sure what else I can do
