Odd question - Bought one of those $30 1.3 Gallons dosing containers from Amazon for viengar dosing. Poured a gallon of vinegar into it but looks like my daily dose needed to maintain low nitrate will last that one gallon for awhile. It's been about 3 months and it will last at least another 4 months.

Is it ok for vinegar to be stored in a dosing container like this for so long? Or should I swap it out to a smaller container so fresh batch of vinegar can be replenished more frequently?

Iirc just the water evaporates but you can ask randy in the chem.forum.

if it's capped to prevent evaporation (air tightish seal), you should be OK.

It's capped but I'm noticing what seems to be condensation on the cap. I'll just swap it out with a smaller container.
