Hey everyone, I'm excited to finally post here after seeing all the fantastic tanks from everyone in the community. I'm a complete beginner to the hobby and have done some small freshwater aquariums but never salt water, so any tips, advice, or experience is greatly appreciated.
A little bit about my tank:
Due to my limited space, I purchased a Waterbox 25 Peninsula, with 20 lbs of live rock from my local fish store, and 5 lbs of fresh ocean rock just because of the lovely color and shape. Also, they rarely bring it in sometimes. For sand, I chose 20lbs of Caribsea arag-alive sand, the heater is a Fluval E100, and I went with an AI Prime 16HD with a flex arm for lighting. The light is sitting 10'' from the water, running an AB-Saxby preset I got from the AI group, currently stocked with primarily soft and lps corals, two clownfish, and some inverts. I also purchased a Duetto ATO and an auto feeder which will be here this week, so I can hopefully go away for a weekend without worry.
