Hello everyone,
I originally started in the hobby back in 2004 or so and had a 18g nano for a couple years (couldn't find any old pics). Then I had a 120g mixed reef for a couple more years and I did find one pic below:
My prior reefs taught me so much about this hobby. I was also one of the first in my local reef club (UT) to solely use T5 with SPS/Clams, and had great success.
I've always been captivated by cubes. I almost started a 60g cube back in 2006ish instead of my 120g, and now I've come back to a 60g LPS only cube. I started the tank on 1/15/2017 and it looked like this:
I've had some ups and downs with this tank, but I think it is coming along nicely. This is the tank as seen last weekend:
LPS are by far my favorite coral, so that is all I'm putting into this tank coral wise. I'm running a AI Hydra 26 HD, and I run it very blue because I want color and I'm not too concerned about growth in a smaller tank. I've always run skimmerless with large amounts of chaeto and aggressive harvesting of macro algae.
Overall, I just wanted to give some background on myself, and I've heard this is a great forum. I look forward to reading, learning and meeting new people on this forum. Thanks for reading
