Hey just wanted to say hi. Been in the hobby 40+ years. But new to here. Glad to be here.
My current setup is a 1000g display built in the wall with a bar in front of it.. 150g sump, 100g fuge deltec skimmer. Led lighting (cannon fixtures) and an apex running it all. I have all DC pumps. I use a denitrifying reactor and dose the heck out of 2 part and calcium. The entire tank pulls about 1 amp running the entire tank with out the heaters. The heaters when all on pull about 20amp. But that does not happen much. I am not a huge water change guy, I top off 1.5-2.5 g a day depending on humidity. And the tank stay super stable. Been up and running about 10 years not a ton of corals as it is hard to get in and move stuff around mostly softies. Tangs. Clowns. Etc... I have a small (100g) reef in my family room. Running an aquaexcell skimmer, apex,DC pumps, small denitrifying reactor too. I also have an 80w UV on the big system. It is about 1250-1280g total volume.
Anyway nice to be here!

I posted in the wrong thread...anyway. Tank is 8' long 48" deep and 48" wide. Sump is about 150-ish gal. And fuge ( not pictured) is about 100g. I run an oceans motion 8 way. That is what all that plumbing it. My return pushed 5200gph. And I run 2 of those. There is 5 power heads in the tank for flow. I will get some better pics. As this is what I had on my phone right now. To be honest when the moons are on is my favorite look for the tank. The stand is 42" tall so you can sit at the bar in front of the tank and have a drink or eat there. I love sitting and watching it. I just read did aquascaping and moved a bunch of stuff around. The coral and live stick is in my small tank as I need to plan really well when putting stuff back in. I redid pluming to add a feeding loop to make it easier and more valves and a manifold and a way to swap a back up pump out in about 30 sec now. Anyway in about 2-3 weeks I will have everything back in the tank and will take really good pics and repost. For now it's just the Stark bare bottom. It's really hard to aqua-scape in this tank. I mean really hard. That's about 900# of rock in there.
