Long time reefers - Old product name

Just need a quick answer - there used to be a mechanical flow alternator (poor man's oceans motion) device. It was roughly shaped like triangle - two outputs. The flow through it drove the mechanism to switch flow from one side to other. The name is hovering at the edge of my memory but continues to elude and it's driving me a little nuts. Can anyone help me out?
