why are my zoas “long” they didn’t used to be like this but the past few weeks they have been. (Excuse the bubbles just did a water change”

They’re stretching for light

Increase light? I did change the schedule not too long ago but I forget what intensity it was at
My opinion is that moving the zoas up would be a better option, increasing the light changes the entire tank just to make one coral happy. If your tank could use more light overall then it wouldn't hurt, but changing an entire tank to suit one unhappy coral could be risky. Honestly i have some zoas (Everlasting gobbstoppers) that are high up in my tank with tons of light and they still extend like yours.

Try adding more flow, too. My gobstoppers looked pretty similar until I re-aimed a powerhead just enough to make them sway but not close up. It's been about 2 weeks now and they're looking a lot better, about 2/3 of the height.

As suggested. I would move up. But if other zoas look like that. Definitely bump up percentage.
