Longer Names for Apex Outletts

Hello,
Does any one know if the descriptions for APEC Fusion outlets can be made longer? I am only able to use 8 letters. So I usually have to abbreviate the label. Does the latest version of Apex allow for longer names?

I can use more than 8 letters on the new one.

O.K, Iwill do that. Does that give me a word up to 16 letters? What is the max on either side of the hyphen? If you know, it will save me the trial and error.

So far no good. What comes after the name_name? For example, should name_name_3_7 work?

My return_pump is 11 characters with 1 being a hyphen, I also named an outlet skimmer without a hyphen. I believe the hyphen is required if you try to space.

You are referring to the new system, right? I wonder if the old Bar8 can be replaced with a new style and work on an Apex Classic.

I am looking at the new one, from what I remember the the new bar can't be used on the classic.
