So I would like to know how long some one of you have used the same led fixture? looking for replies those of you who had your led fixture for a while now, over 4+ years. What differences did you notice? When should an led fixture be swapped for a new one?

So I would like to know how long some one of you have used the same led fixture? looking for replies those of you who had your led fixture for a while now, over 4+ years. What differences did you notice? When should an led fixture be swapped for a new one?

My DIY Fixture is over 4 years with no problems. Quality LEDs like Cree last 50,000 hours and then after that produce at least 75% of their light with little or no spectrum shift.

If you use the BJB solderless connector you can easily swap individual LEDs on a 20mm Star at any time.
