what is the longevity of the AI hydra 26 HD before lights need to be replaced? I’m assuming that all the lights have a shelf life.

So long as you’re able to provide the par you want with it, indefinitely. The drivers/fans/computer type components will fail eventually but that is nearly impossible to predict. I’d imagine it depends on how clean you keep it and how much humidity it is subject to. I’d never replace a working led fixture unless I just HAD to upgrade or change lighting tech. If it’s working. Run it. I don’t buy the “replace on a 5 year schedule” rule some led manufacturers are suggesting now.

Girlfriend said that she thought she saw slightly different color on one of my lights compared to the other a few days ago. I wasn’t around, but it made me wonder considering the lights are running the same program at the same time.
Maybe it was nothing. As for humidity, they are sitting above a rimless tank that is usually about 78.
