Good evening!
Just got a nice 4" Longnose Butterflyfish from my LFS, he's eating frozen but I think he'll be out competed from the Sailfin and Foxface. Has anyone designed a 3d feeder version, I know there's ones for sale, but I've got a printer, so I figure I would ask here first.
If not, I may try and throw together a suction cup frozen food feeder with small holes. Thanks!

I created a frozen food feeder that worked really well that might work for you. The empty space and cap is for an capsulated magnet…

@Printed Reef makes them too

Can't believe I couldn't find that on there! I'll give that a shot, thanks!!

I use something similar but it only has holes in the front. That one looks like the food is going to come out of the holes on the sides. I'm sure it works fine it's just that food is going to float out faster.
This is the one I use made by @Biff0rz

Exactly what happened, everyone enjoyed some brine, I'll see if I can cover up some of side holes. At least he got some of the good stuff while it was flowing

Might have better luck with PE mysis as they are quite a bit larger than brine.
The one I posted has worked out well for me. The other fish figure out there is food there but they can not get to it so they hang back and get the scraps and pieces that float out. They more or less depend on the butterfly to get the food out for them. Using mine for a while really helped my copperband develop confidence at feeding time and I no longer use it unless I'm feeding mastick.
