Longnose hawkfish no longer eating

Well nothing good came from the fw dip, had him in for 5 minutes in a dark container and water was free of any flukes or other visible nasties. He's back in the qt tank. Unfortunately this will be my third long nose...I tried two from lfs a few months ago and lost both, then ordered from live aquaria a few weeks back to try something else out and this fish ate like a champ day one in qt. The puffer did too, neither showed any signs of sickness for the full 2 weeks aside from one stringy poop (which I treated for over a week with metro soaked food, and they both ate the whole time), so I moved both to the dt last weekend.

Lost the puffer Saturday (6 days in dt...looked healthy I assumed stress related somehow...was disappointed fou sure but glad I still had the hawk), hawk ate Sunday, I missed a frozen feed Monday (so he just got auto feeder with pellets), and then he wouldn't eat yesterday or today with multiple tries. He was eating out of my hand literally 3 days ago, taking a big chunk of food right from my fingers. This doesn't make sense to me, a fish seems great for 3+ weeks, suddenly stops eating and has no visible symptoms other than flat stomach (which is just caused by the non eating).

Let me know if this should be a new thread...

Got him in qt after the fw dip. Dosed prazi yesterday. Won't eat at all, beginning to look skinny (hasn't eaten in ~4 days). Otherwise looks perfectly fine, still colored up. Abb ideas?

Have you tried soaking his food in garlic, to entice him to eat?

Yeah that was the first thing I tried. I've now tried live brine, live black worms, frozen mysis and lrs reef frenzy. He cares less about food every day. After the prazi wears off I'm planning kanaplex and furan2. I tried soaking some food in selcon today per my lfs suggestion, and putting some in the water as well, no luck.

He's probably a goner, but if you've got any last ditch efforts that don't involve syringe feeding I'll give it a shot.

Welcome back btw. Haven't super kept up with r2r but I heard you were out for a while, hope everything is going well for you.
