I'm starting a Mangrove tank and there was a website that recommended either Up-side Down Jellyfish or a group of Longspine Cardinals and a longspine urchin.

How many Cardinals could I keep in a 20g long? I know they like as large of groups that you can manage. Do the adults actually host the Urchin or is it just the babies? I hear that their Bio-Load is next to nothing and I currently have an HOB fuge and a Canister Filter that we originally used for our 55g. . .

Any help would be great. I am really excited about this Mangrove tank and have had a hard time thinking of something to put in there when the Mangrove takes off in about 3 years

If there are any other cool, small schooling fish that I could put in here instead Lmk (btw I'm not picky about colors. If it's different shades of brown that's fine with me).

I should also add that this will pretty much be a species-only tank. If I got the Cardinals or some other schooling fish, that would be the only thing in there.

I started with a small school of them of about 5-6 and now I'm down to a mated pair. They don't really fight with each other and are always together, but some how they slowly died off till there are only two now. They are mouth broaders just like their cousins the Bangaiis and mine breed every couple of months with the male holding eggs. I'm finding it difficult to gather info on duration etc.. so I'm treating them like Bangaiis. The urchin is for the babies which will hide in there. They don't grow much larger than 2" and aren't real active swimmers so you could probably keep a small school in your twenty....BTW they are nocturnal and are active at night. They will be active during the daylight also because they learn that is when they are fed....HTH
