I dealt with aquacon about five years ago and agree with the above statement. I ordered some acro colonies. They verified that all were in stock and ready to ship when I spoke with them. Every colony was upsized from small to large (tripling cost, in the process). I didn't have a budget for corals back then... Then they died within the first 12 hours of being in my tank, killing off my tank, too. Not fond.
I will say that PPE's are from the Caribbean (Blane got his in a 'trade' from someone in the Caribbean area). The first PPE's I got were from a guy from Orlando who picked up a colony for about $30. They had someone collect for them locally. I'd think that most places have figured out what they are by now, especially since the price seems to be as high now in some markets as they have been for years. I've seen pics from a few Caribbean islands with some incredible Z. gigantus that I haven't seen aquarium pics of yet. I was hoping to see some in St. Maarten, but no luck...
