Yea and on top of that I dont care how rare a coral is $195 for a single zoa or $1000-$2000 for a 1/4 or 1/8 inch frag of a chalice is insane!

Too bad you feel that way. I was just about to offer you $395 for that frag:bigsmile:

haahahahahaahahahaha, its obvious I dont know to much about zoas and palys.. . . .. ..

NP KLR the eagles eyes are a beauty once they form a nice colony. May grow fast and be common but still one of my favs. I got a frag from a reefer almost 10 years ago of them and back then I could sell them pretty easy but now a days they are very widely distributed.

I have seen a guy buy a kaliedoscope for $60 a polyp and every polyp that has grown from it since has been an eagle eye. He keeps waiting for the centers to change but they don't. Lol. Those are the biggest joke zoa I have seen thus far. Like a dot of another color in the center brings the price from $.50 to $60.00 a polyp. And people buy them.......

I love my eagle eye colony by the way but think the kaliedoscopes are a total scam.

Like i said i have some on a 15 zoa eagle eye small colony I got that have green mouth, and I have alot of zoas that the centers morph into random colors and then ill never see another one like it....

What exactly do the kalidiscope(not spelled right) zoas look like?

if you really feel this way then why did you PM me to put together a high end chalice pack for you.. for which i took the time out to do so and discounted it for you almost 50% off then you said never mind. YOu also put up a wanted add for all these high end pieces but then when people reply to you with what you are asking for you just say NO thanks..:sad:

come on are you serious or just like to ask for something but really dont want to buy it?

I found a deal that im close to getting from my thread and your deal was great and if I had the money I would have got it........Im talking about a booger size frag for $1000

And your site is awsome!, but like I said I dont have enough money, but once I start selling and fragging my own corals I can get more money to spend..

Here are some of the morphs, not exotic, but still just showing mine, Eagle eye morphs are still closed because they were just put on a frag plug

Again nothing exciting I just wanted to show you all because it is asier than typing

You got to spend to get stuff to grow out. I think you may think of this hobby the wrong way. Ive sold alot thru the yrs but Ive never made any money as most dont.Thats due to having to replace stuff and buying supplys and a few new corals I end spending way more than Ive ever made.

I understand what your saying, I was just saying I got all of my chalices for no more than $60 a piece, i know that was lucky, like my bubble gum monster now 4 eyes growing 5th for $50,purple watermelon 4 eyes $50,WWC Apple berry 3 eyes $30. Key lime mango sherbert 16 eyes $50, Indian brush or paint brush $30, WWC Pookerstreet Alien eye $60....So once I sell these ill have gained money but, by the time you sell and buy another coral you might have some profit or loose money.

My thought was if I can frag and sell my chalices for cheaper than their internet prices like $70 or $80 per eye for my bbgm and I sell 5 eyes but got the mother colony for $50 I would have gained some profit, but I would go back and spend it on another coral, which goes back to what you are telling me

The thing with buying stuff way cheaper than the growing rate is that you really may not know if its the real deal. I know when I buy higher end stuff I want linage back to the OG owner before I buy because if I dont have it I cant resale as a named coral.
Ex.. If I bought a BGM from somebody that bought it from sumbody and wasnt sure who they got it from it wouldnt be fair for me to sell to the next saying its from WWC because it would be a lie. There are alot nock-offs out there so my best advice is know what your buying before you starting selling sumthin thats a named coral

If you got them from WWC there the real deal and if you was to ask them they could provide linage.
Now the OG Alien I dont think is the same as the pookstreet Alein eye you would have to ask WWC on which one juice got from them. Pookstreet is the OG owner of his Alein eye and I think the other OG owner is WWC but not sure there are to many to keep up with as you see it gets very confusing as there are alot of different ones that look the same but with different names or people calling them the same as a named one that isnt a linaged one.
Knowing what you have and where it came from means alot. If/when you start selling and it ends up not being what you say it is you will get bashed real quick and then people will stop buying.

Ok thanks for the help, and there is tons of chalices that look like each other and like you said it gets sorda confusing

linage is a farse, they all come from the same place, if one vender orders from a wholesaler and gives it a name its not magicically worth $1000 more than the idential colony that was growing nearby and sold to a seperate distributer that was bought by a different retailer. lineage should be traced back to the native's that harvest the coral's in the first place.

pay for how it looks and how it appeals to you, if you pay for a specific name you are only waisting money.
