Out of curiosity, have these clams been treated for pinched mantle disease? I lost all my clams a few months ago when I introduced a clam that hadn't been treated, so I am a little hesitant about getting more. I did not get the sick clam from you guys btw.

Out of curiosity, have these clams been treated for pinched mantle disease? I lost all my clams a few months ago when I introduced a clam that hadn't been treated, so I am a little hesitant about getting more. I did not get the sick clam from you guys btw.

These clams are not treated, other than freshwater dips which are not entirely effective, there is no well recognized treatment. The clams at the farm have been checked for the Perkensis parasite and are clear. Proper handling plays a significant role as well. Also, I do not stock wild collected clams.
