hey guys so I’ve been out of the hobby for many years. Feel like a noob again. Just wanted to ask if everything looks normal so far. Been up and running for a bit over 2 months so far.

It’s a 40 breeder with a 29gal sump. I am running chaeto in my fuge. Everything is looking ok to me. I hate the diatoms and the green hair algae. I remove the GHA during weekly maintenance. Everything is testing great nitrates are 2.5 and phosphates are .25 dkh 9.0.

Ok awesome. I am waiting for one more component. Then I am building a light for my chaeto right now it has 2 12in reefbrite strip lighting it.

Loving the eclipse overflow box though that thing is amazing!! It’s super noisy though I am going to put a durso in it. Right now it is just a open hole I figure a durso will quite it down a bit.

I feel like I added stuff to quick. The ammonia nitrite nitrate cycle happened fast I used dr Tim’s. Read good things about it so I used it. And the cycle was done in the first month. Super excited to be back in the hobby!
