Hi all I’m looking to change from kalkwasser to 2 part and looking to buy a doser . What doser would be good to start with I don’t want to spend a crazy amount but don’t want a cheap one ether . I have a Neptune apex jr not to sure if the dose would work on that I want something reflectively easy to setup was also thing of the versa what do you guys recommend

Do you just need the two dosing heads or would you be adding anything later on? What is your budget? Lastly, are you looking for any particular features beyond reliability and precision?

my price would be around the 400 mark I think just 2 heads would be good I dont think I plan on auto dosing anthing else . I want to get something that I don't have to worry about and something easy to setup and program

With that price point, I think the best doser would be the GHL doser. That being said, it has a bit of a learning curve to set up, but it's not too bad if you follow a guide or watch a video.

After that, my pick would be the Bubble Magus doser.

I don't have experience with the Kamoer, so I can't say anything about them, but several members seem to like them.

Have two of these cheap Jebao dp-4 dosers, three years now, never missed a beat, $80Cdn.

I use the liquid Seachem Fusion 1 and 2 and Seachem Aquvitro Magnisium for my Alk, CA and MG.
Just pour it in your jars and away you go.
I use the pre made liquid as it’s more consistent that using RODI + Dry.
Red Sea foundation is also avaiable in Canada.
See Big Als online, I get it shipped to my door.
