Heya everyone!

It is time to set up my 40 breeder.

Im looking for a few things

Dry rock, powerheads, return pump <-- don't know the size i need but i want good flow,a reasonably priced overflow box glass holes type at least 700 gph, cheato and some help setting up a sump as i have never ran one only hobs.I plan to house sps and acans/favia and one yellow leather, going bare bottom<-- want it to look kinda like travis's beautiful tank, plan on using mh/t5 lighting. My car will not make it very far as its a point of sale. later down the line a reefkeeper/autotop off box. My plan for this tank in the end is to do nothing manually but add fresh water to the top off box. You can reply here or in a pm either way is fine. I just don't want to have to buy something more than once so with all your knowledge help me set it up right the first time around pretty please!

On a totally unrelated note i successfully quit smoking ciggs!!!!

Solar WTG on the ciggs.. Its super hard. Ive quit, started, quit and started again. I am jsut over a week now smoke free again.

I'm over 3 yeard after having smoked almost 20. Electeronic ciggarettes is the best way to quit imo

I looked into those light fixtures myself, you will find very mixed reviews of them. Apparently they had a problem with catching fire, but some say they fixed the problem. Just saying be careful with it.

Not sure who has it but there was a deep blue t5 on on here . This is what I use and I keep across under it. I would avoid the oddysea. I also have a 40. If your interested I have a few things lying around including a 10 gal sump I had on my old tank. Also I think a mey have a return pump and powerheads.

On my 29 atm i have this
Odyssea Metal Halide Pendantt works pretty well minus the color loss compared to led's but with some more blue accents it should be boss, all i have ever used before is power compacts ie coralife and they grew favias/polyp's/softies great that is my first halide light and i have no complaints minus the lack of blue tint. I am all ears thought I only wan't to buy one light pump powerheads ect so any help is greatly appreciated.

Iron what powerheads/ return pump do you have and what would you want for them?

those aforementioned fixtures are terrible. you get what you pay for. I would hold out on that, and find a good fixture used from someone local.

Still looking for return pump/rock/powerheads/glass holes overflow for a 40 breeder!

If you are looking for external pumps I have couple Iwaki pumps :
