Looking for a good wall mount option for a Kessil A160

I will be mounting the A160 over a Nuvo 10 in my living room. I don’t like either the gooseneck or the bracket. Primarily because I am running an InTank fuge in chamber 2. It appears from the photos that I will have to disconnect either of these two mounts every time I want to pull Chaeto or do any maintenance in that chamber.

I’m thinking I can rig the 90 degree adaptor to some short of shelf or small tv bracket. Before I start, I was hoping that someone may have done this already and has a clean DIY solution.

Here is the current state of construction. I’m most likely going to need to move the wall photos around a bit.

I've seen where folks will take 3/4" steel tubing and flatten the end attaching to the stand and then either use a 90 degree fitting or bend the pipe to make an arm for the light. After it is assembled, it would be a good idea to paint it with a good primer and protective coating to keep rust at bay.

Thanks! Something with steel or black pvc was going to be a possible plan B if I can’t find or figure out something cleaner...

Go to home depot and have them bend you a 90 in a piece of conduit. Paint it black and run the wire inside it. Use conduit clamps to fasten it to the back of the stand.

It's height adjustable and slick looking when done.

Try this: take a bolt that will fit the tapped hole on top of the 160, drill a hole in the conduit and space the light down an inch or two with a piece of tubing like 1/2" CPVC that's been painted black as well. Screw the light on to tighten down.

Should work and be fairly neat and clean.

Just make sure the bolt doesn't go too deep into the fixture.

I was thinking along those lines and possibly poking around and finding a small diameter piece of hollow black tubing to use as a spacer. Both to drop down the fixture off of the rod a bit, and also to ensure that it does not care in to far.
