looking for a hose for my eheim 1000

I have an IM penninsula and my return pump failed so I bought an eheim compact 1000. The hose that came with my im is too small. What would I need to buy to fix this. Thanks, Rich

I'm not familiar with the tubing size on the IM pump, but if it's close, try boiling a cup of water in the microwave and place the tubing end in the hot water for a minute or so. This softens up the the tubing and might allow you to fit it over the new pump. Otherwise, pick up a tubing reducer:

Of if the new pump has internal threads, consider a threaded barb with the right diameter for the tubing.
