Anyone have a frag of Kenya tree? After I gave them all away, I am missing the delicate appearance of a waving wispy pinkish coral. I can use a small one in my 29 gallon tank.

Shame you're not closer. I keep pulling them out of my tank but they just keep coming back from the bits down in the rocks. If anyone knows of anything reef safe to remove or eat them let me know.

I prune them weekly too. They are very very resilient. And invasive.
If you lived closer, I'd give you cuttings.

It has been my experience that to control Kenya tree, GSP, Xenia, etc.; that you need to remove it with the rock that it is growing on. Place this in your driveway in a semi-shaded location for about a week to ten days. Them put the rock in a Rubbermaid tub with the old water from a water change and a powerhead on your back porch for about a month. Make sure that the tub is covered to keep all light out. At this point you can put the rock back in your tank where they were originally. After doing that I have never had one to reappear.

That's pretty accurate! I had some on a hunk of LR out of water for over a week. It still lived to torment me. This rock has now been out in the sun since May. I think it's dead now. LOL.

If you're not in a big hurry, give it another 30 days!
