So.... I wanted extra room n my tank for the frags I got from WWC and I wanted everything closer to the surface and, therefore, closer to the light. Problem was that the rock already there has a bunch of little frags/colonies on it. The answer was simple.... pull the rock out with all the frags and put new rock under it. I would let the new rock stick out on one side, thus making even more frag room. I started working and, of course, the new rock wasn’t gonna sit like I wanted and still be stable and the old rock wouldn’t cooperate either. I did eventually get everything in place but in the process broke 4 frags.

So, I need to know... will the frags come back? Will polyps grow where the broken ends are? Make me feel better and tell me I’m not the only one this stupid. :(

It depends on what type of frags, but in most cases, you'll be fine as long as you didn't damage them too much in the process. For example, if they were SPS frags and the breaks were somewhat clean, you most likely just have two of that particular frag now.

They were acros mainly and the breaks were clean. But the broken pieces are somewhere down in my rocks. I also broke a stylophora and an elkhorn acro (A. palmata). I managed to miss my maxima clam but one of the acros was a Jason Fox piece I got about three weeks ago.
