What is the most bang for your buck doser.
What are the added benefits to having a doser that you can control via wifi

I've never used/had one before am looking to dose for alkalinity and calcium so perhaps a 3 head unit.

I haven't a clue what to look for so any help is appreciated.

I have used GHL, Coral Box, Neptune DOS and the Ecotech Versa in the past and wasn't really happy with any of them. Settled on Jaboa and while they are a little noisy they have been the easiest to install and program of them all. Have had them for 4 months with no issues.

I have the single head Bubble Magus pump and I like it pretty well. No Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth...just set it manually.

Here's the 3 head version:

I've had some infrequent issues with my Kamoer X1 Pro, but it does have Wi-Fi.

I really don't mind the noise, my tank is in the basement and I doubt that it's any noisier than my overflow lol
Thank you for the input!!!

I've been using the BRS 1.1mL/Min dosing pumps to dose 2-part since I started the hobby over 5 years ago. I control them with the cheap white digital timers and adjust +/- a minute or two to adjust dosing. It's never failed and never been a problem. I don't even calibrate or clean them like you're supposed to and they've never died. Just be sure you're testing both alkalinity and calcium.

I'm using All-For-Reef and just the one-head Bubble Magus pump; it doses 50ml per day.

The Kamoer X1 Pro is used for ATO.

I'll probably pick up another pump for Amino\Trace elements once I get tired of doing it manually. lol

Just ordered it along with a hose holder and colored hose to differentiate liquids.
Thank you all for your input!!!
This is a great place to get advice and direction.
Also ordered All for reef, used the recent $10 coupon that came in the mail fro BRS LOL

I use the ATI DP-6. No frills - 6 heads for about $200. It holds it's memory during power outages. I bought it knowing I was dosing ATI Essentials PRO - 2 heads and would be adding extra magnesium (3 heads used). I have since adding Strontium, Iodine and Kalkwasser to my must dose items so now all 6 heads are in use. Coral growth has increased noticeably with the stability provided with consistent doses.

So far, I like it. When you start out, base the dosage on your Alk consumption. Once Alk stabilizes where you want, it may be that you will need to add Mag every now and then depending upon your desired level. I would highly recommend a cheap heated magnetic stirrer ($50 Amazon) as this makes it much easier to mix. I let it warm the water initially, then add the ingredients. I've been doing the powder+liquid formula, but now that the all-powder mix is available, I'll try that next time.
