LOOKING for a Red or Yellow Carpet anemone!

I'm looking to purchase a red or yellow carpet anemone. Can anyone tell me if that is even possible for me to find or are they that rare? I have found pictures online but afraid to buy from the websites.

Assuming you mean the stichodactyla carpets .... don’t think I have ever seen a yellow one, though red ones show up occasionally.

I saw an mixed color one with some yellow, but could be a lighting thing. Red ones come along, just keep looking. Good luck! I love the red ones, but out of my budget.

Oops, I was thinking carpets like hadonni. I have sseen the maxi mini with yellows. Nice one by the way.

Maxis come in all sorts of colors. OP will have to be more specific.

My LFS has had an amazing looking bright red haddoni for about 3 months. They want a grand for it though. If you are seriously wanting a red send me a PM and I’ll forward you their info.

tht thing must be huge to want a grand for it. I know they are expensive but i’m only willing to oay half of that if I can find it lol

I'm getting a yellow carpet anemone from my LFS tomorrow, its not a mini max and it looks awesome

Sorry for the lateness of my response I just got it, the anemone is a bit bleached but it is a light yellow. I'll post pics when I put it in my tank

It will likely end up green once it gets back to being healthy.

My local fish store had two reds. I bought one

Alright well it was unfortunately just a green one thats been bleached, I was trying to get my LFS to take it back but no chance I guess. Sorry to disappoint

Might as well just look for a red. A true yellow just does not exist.
