For my 180 gallon fowlr tank with dual overflows. Looking for quality that will last and help not kill the electric bill. I currently have 2 rio 3100s. Suggestions?

@Brew12 and the reef squad members might be able to help recommend something for you.

Are you looking for 2 pumps of similar flow ratings or are you looking to go to one pump?

I would like to use 1. I also hear flow should be 5x the tank size so at least 1000ish gph

I know some people that like 2x flow and others that like 10x flow. You are currently using 2 x 900gph pumps, so going to 1000gph will cut your flow almost in half. That is what you want?

A few more quick questions so I can get an idea of your system pump head. How high over your sump is your tank? Typical in-stand? What diameter piping and how many 90deg elbows do you expect to use in your plumbing?

+2 on the Vectra M1. I have one on my 180 for the return and a manifold with a CaRx, GFO, and Carbon reactor.

I'm at 50% and it works great.

Vectra for sure but if it is out your price range go with another DC pump.
