I've tried this on 2 different forums, but no luck, you guys are my last hope :) so here goes.....

Im looking for a web-site that I found a while ago. It was a site that had a HUGE selection of Zoas, and had a thing across the top with pictures of Zoas scrolling by (Kinda Like A Zoa Ticker), you could click on any of them and it would bring them up to buy. I think you could also chose how many polyps you wanted. I think they sold other corals as well, but seemed to have more Zoas than anything.

Does anybody know what im talking about?

I don't even check Sharkys out anymore. I could never tell what a coral really looked like from the pic they posted on the website. It was blasted with so much blue/actinic that everything looked like it was a glowing limited edition coral. Give me a basic pic under 10K lights or something similar and I'm happy.

Ok good to know, I'll b sure to not order anything from them then.

There is absolutely no blue light in our facility. All pictures are shot under 12k 250 SE Reeflux bulbs. Keep in mind we do also have a store front and welcome anybody in to compare pictures. You will see only MH light in our shop. No 20k bulbs all 12k no VHO, T5, Power compact etc. No trickery is involved. Pictures sometimes can be off but these are far and few between and we try to weed these out when we can. Some of our pictures have the blue tubs (the corals are kept in - see store pics for info) and some assume its actinic light. All pictures are WYSIWYG and take great pride in representing our corals as accurate as possible.

They are several sharkys haters out there over the years most of them never even placed an order. Yes we do have some unhappy customers being in business over 5 years sometimes things go wrong. We do what we can in those situations and the unhappy customer are the ones that are going to post. However, our clients are built of mostly repeat customers and we take pride in what we do.

coralnutz - Thanks for helping me make up my mind about possibly sponsoring again.

todd2000, though it has been a while since I ordered from Sharkey's (about 9months), I had a very good experience with them including some nice freebies that were thrown into my order. From my own experience I would say they are a good place to order from.

Excuse me...

I explained this in another thread that you lost communications while we were moving into our facility. Sorry sponsorship is low on the totem poll of things to do.

From my knowledge you do not do advertising until you get a months paid upfront. How is that not paying you the tab? If I owe you money that is something new to me

please take it outside gentleman. :)

this conversation has gotten way off topic and will probably only go down the tubes further, so i'm ending it.
