anyone have a crappy old 55 gallon or anything I could use as a sump? my 20 gallon just isnt cutting it.

thats probly the best bet i asked my buddy and he says hes going to set it up but he's been saying that allot and still no running 55

Alex if you want me and you could get together and make a wooden tank for the corner behind your tank and have it come out to almost your vent if we did this we could make it tall enough that you wouldnt have to worry about power gowing out and no extra plumbing. i have some plans ill try to change a little for your needs but could work great and be allot of fun PM with your number and we see what we cant come up with. and you have to come check out the plumbing i did to my tank after the meeting. i still need a new return but i have things running for now till i get the money.
We also have a sweet sump coming for the swap as a donation - it will be raffled or auctioned off. You might be able to pick it up cheap if we raffle it. put $10-$20 worth of raffles in and walk away with a killer sump with refugium.

hey alex i know your looking for a 55 or something but i might have a 35gal if your interested i would give you my extra 55 but im moving my lion and betta into it i just cant let em go.

Unless Donny had two 55's in the back, the old one with the fake oak trim is now my display. I bought it from him 2 months ago. I have stuggled with the decision of whether or not to turn my old 20g tall into a sump or a refugium. Any advice would be appreciated. I will post the whole story in the main r2r forum if you wanna check it out.

No, the only other 55 at donny's is being used to house feeder guppies.... plus it is drilled... so a bit of a waste

Hey Alex I got the sump in for the swap and it is AWESOME!!!! Seriously don't do anything until you check it out. It sells for around $400 retail!1 You might get one heck of a deal man!!!
