Hello friends,

I've recently purchased a Biocube 8 off a buddy, and am thinking about setting it up as a mini reef tank (zoa garden, maybe a fish or two, etc..). From what I've read, the stock pump and output of this tank is basically non-existent, so I'm in the market for a small, reliable wave maker! Any suggestions? I am planning on replacing the return pump as well.

Thanks!

TMW

Upgraded return pump with an RFG (or 2) might be plenty for your tank.

If you really want a powerhead/wavemaker, the Jebao SLW-5/SLW-5M/MLW-5 would be a good option (all the same pump, just different controllers).

My little sun sun has never failed me but Jebao is a great power head I have a Sow 4 in my tank and all out it is way too much but flow can be a preference depending on your fish and coral needs
