I think this is Nemo's new location: 311 Unionville - Indian Trail Rd W, Indian Trail, NC 28079. and Upscale aquatics is: North, 110 Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078. C-Macs is a newer operation. I have seen some amazing inverts in there. Like, electric flame scallops, that literally light up, some beautiful tube worms and other things I didn't even know existed. Their address is: 11112 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28273
Oh I know Upscale Aquatics. I didn't realize that's what you meant. I think I've been to C-Macs. Is that in a shopping center, small store front?

Yep, small but mighty!

Is it by mail or can I bring in a sample?

Where you at bud? I feel your pain. I'm in the sticks up in Lake Toxaway NC. Wish I had more local friends. I got some cool stuff and would love a group of reefers to trade with.
Ooo I like trading what chu got? I have a awesome pink Mille I am gonna frag very soon, a couple FF Montys that grow like crazy, a gold 2/4 head hammer a maybe some other items I might even frag a head of my dragon soul or Todd’s torch or my ASD “black” torch. Local hook up only. I actually traded with a guy from Charlotte for the torches.

Yes Nemo's is really good. I am bringing in about 30 pieces tomorrow for store credit... gotta get my frag system up and running for my new coral order coming.

You got some nice stuff. I do mostly high end sticks and bta morphs but also a few high end mushrooms and other odds and ends. Really need to up my torch collection and want a gold or orange hammer too. We should meet up after the holiday sometime.

I’m from edenton North Carolina. Not sure anyone would even know where that is. Was once the capital of North Carolina beleive it or not. When I go back home I frequent a store in Virginia Beach. Can’t think of the store right now but what a beautiful place. Would like to visit stores around the North Carolina area to when I’m down there

I'm from Florida, so I still don't know a majority of cities and towns yet. But glad you found this thread and group.

I like Aquatica a lot too. If I'm not mistaken, Saltys and Aquatica may have the same owners... but I would take anything I say with a grain of salt.
I think both locations go by Aquatica now and yes they are owned by the same person. If you show your RASOC card, you should get a discount.

There are a few of us up here in the mountains. I am in Asheville. A friend of mine that runs a maintenance business says there are quite a few aquarium keepers nearby, but most are pretty casual and on facebook only. I don't have facebook so no go for me. I have seen a few others like @scott11106 that are nearby as well. Maybe we could set up an Asheville R2R forum and try to recruit others?
We have had people from Asheville make the trek to Charlotte for our meetings before.

Im near Danville, VA but consider Triad Reef Critters in Greensboro my LFS. There's a coral expo in the Greensboro collisium next May that's supposed to be pretty big. I don't get to make it down past Gboro, but I know there's The Reef Farm somewhere near Raleigh that has a greenhouse of corals.

Woah woah woah! I need to see this! Do you have a video of how it works?

edit: so I watched a video of how it works. I want to watch a testing video. Do you let people come in and see how to work then before purchase?

Hi @Bleigh, we typically don't have any open workshops here at corporate. What we can do, though, is record a video tonight from our Senior Web Designer's tank and demonstrate how to run the tests if that would help?

That would be super cool to see!

Anyone in eastern Nc?
I’m in New Bern, not too much going on in Eastern NC except a couple of Facebook groups. Wilmington, Jacksonville, and New Bern each have a group. The New Bern group does a small hobbyists swap a few times a year.

Hi @Bleigh! We didn't realize our Web Designer is in the process of moving to a new home and has everything packed away! Here is one of our YouTube videos showing how to test for Nitrates in marine water. The process is similar to each parameter you want to test for. Each test comes with instructions on how exactly to perform it! We hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions!
