I have a huge phosphate issue going on in my tank that's been up for only 2+ months.

I have purchased Lanthanum Chloride to aid in this issue. Heres where I'm at. I just got my Hanna ultra low phosphate checker today.
(Was using an ATI chemical phosphate checker previous...junk)

So before I do anything with the Lanthanum Chloride I am going to check phosphate parameter with the hanna checker. My plans is to go VERY SLOW. puts a few drops of the chloride in once a week for the next few months, while testing every few days. What I'm looking for from you all is advice with using this Chloride. Such as....

Where to put the drops?
How many drops?
Take out phosphate remover media during process?
Etc, etc, etc.

Please give me some guidance all is welcome and appreciated .

2 month old tank? Ya that’s normal and you should never dose anything until at least the 6 month mark and even then LC is not for noobs…

What is your phospahte level? A lot more information about your system would be very helpful.

My two cents, I would not be trying to fix any nutrient issue in a two month old system. The ecosystems is trying to find an equilibrium and it's best to keep any changes to a minimum.
