Looking for advice/examples for center overflow aquascape

I have painted the back black, and had gsp cover the glass.

I prefer the gsp because it added movement.

But if I were to do it again I would leave it clear, and add an led light kit that can change the colors on the back glass. Like this, but without the branches.

Good idea. The inverse gradient of that tank (light on top..dark on bottom or even dark in middle and fade to lighter up & down would really give it a cool depth like the ocean continues for awhile) I saw a photo BG like that & it was backlit and had a blurred coral colony which really made it look like it continued back with depth of field. With any light in back You would just have to enclose the sides and top to prevent lighhtspill in back.
The FUTURE is waterproof thin LED Screens with video backgrounds and light rays, and blurred fish and sharks and a scuba diver once a day that gets real close and looks around in your tank! Lol
