Having trouble raising alkalinity in with kalkwasser. Should I double my dose of kalkwasser potency? I can dose more alkalinity from two part. its for a 20 gallon tank with a lot of coral. My alkalinity consumption raised a ton when I raised my ph a lot. I am currently dosing 50 ml of alkalinity from two part and DKH is 7. I dose 480 ml of kalkwasser a day due to evaporation with a dosing pump.

You certainly can raise your alkalinity more with a two-part. By any chance to know your calcium level? And your magnesium level?
Kind of want to make sure that they're all in line. Magnesium at 1350 PPM helps maintain the levels and keeps the alk from drifting way high or low.

I would raise it to your target and maintain with Kalk. Raise it up to 1dkh daily over a few doses. So if you want 8 dkh and your at 6dkh, raise it in 2 days. Dose in morning noon and again at night so it's not all at once.

With calcium at 520 I would also recommend just using the alk portion of 2-part to get that where you want and as dburr said then maintain it with kalk.
