I have found a page that identifies a family of this species of dinoflagellates

I am unsure, I have not seen this species from samples sent to me.
This is a new one for the list.

Nice O.o

Does it have an achilles heel? How are you going to address this?
With the help of my wife who is an RN we are working with something now called flagyl
If this is successful then I may have a solution to dinoflagellates

Dinoflagellates for sure it's like they find each other and stick together

You gotta love this stuff buddy it's an absolute pain to get rid of.

Looks just like the Dino I had. Is the tank being administered any type of Amino Acids?

metronidazole is for anaerobic flagellates though.

some things i will add.
if i do waterchanges and aerate the crap out of my new water... dinos dont come back as fast as just salt in a 5 gallon bucket and dump.

peroxide also lets loose oxygen?

added ph drives out co2.

these are just my OBSERVATIONS. i have hunches, but figured id share.
