BOB is really easy to DIY. I have a build thread on the Apex and my forum. Just google Torx Break Out Box and you will find it. I may even have a MD8 Mini Din 8 Minidin cable I can ship you if I can find it. Basically you just need that cable that can be purchased of eBay and a terminal block which can be purchased at most any RadioShack type store.

That's one thing I am not. A DIY kind of guy lol I'm sure I could do it, I just don't have the patience for it.

Do u have a picture? Is it "clean" looking? I'm going for an insanely clean look for my build lol

Somewhat a clean look. I didn't really do anything to it, it was more a test. I hopefully will be cleaning it up later, trimming wires etc. Works amazing. I set up a float in my skimmer cap to shut off my skimmer if the cup starts to overflow, as well as the typical floats in the sump.

Hmm that sounds interesting. I'm new to apex tho so I wouldn't know where to start besides the basics
