With the speed Aptaisa spreads you would think not, but from what I understand, keeping them well fed is the issue when trying to maintain a brood stock,

@revhtree once they reach critical mass they wipe the tank out, and die. As a hobbyist, you have about 2-3 weeks to catch and ship what ever you have left and colony implodes.

The 2 - 3 online stores that sell them have separate systems, one to grow aiptasia, and another to grow Nudi's. Salty Underground has been mostly out of stuck due to demand / and this complexity to keep it growing. But they have free shipping at $75, so I just scored 5 last week.

Reeftown usually has more in stock, but higher level for free shipping at $200.

If my 5 end up reproducing, I'll get you some. But I am not holding my breath as I don't have a ton of aiptasia.
