Looking for Bobbit worm

they are pretty fascinating creatures in their own right. They (Eunicidae) haven't changed much in their hundreds of millions of years of existence so they must be doing something right

Unique creatures. I collect uncommon animals
Interesting. I also like the weird stuff. I have a marine giant hermit crab, green fish killing brittle starfish, and a wartskin angler. So nothing terribly rare. What have you collected? got any pictures?

i wonder if there could be local hitchhiker donations setup for folks like us, i wouldn't mind throwing a couple dollars to get peoples tank freaks
That would be very smart. I’ve def flushed a few hitchhikers. Bobbit worm, cirlonoid isopods, and coralline eating limpet to name a few lol

Maybe in the hitchhiker thread? Could talk to a moderator or staff member to make a sticky thread on it. Sounds like a smart idea tbh

I had one in a sump once with a super DSB. I do not know how it got in but must have been a hitchhiker from about 10 years before. I put a clown in there that jumped out of the tank to nurse back to life and he was doing great and I went to go put him back into the tank and found his entire body shredded to pieces. They are terrible creatures

I have to figure out how to catch him. Sneaky little guy. Thought if I net the entire side of the sand I could get him. Failed miserably. I am assuming it is living under the main rock peice. It's been in the tank for 3 years and went unnoticed.

Hey you still interested in a Bobbit Worm?

I need to get this out. Where do you live?
